TRAVEL AND HOTEL INFORMATION
Arrival in Phoenix - Activities will begin on Friday, June 24 with our team testing at the Peoria Complex. Our time will be scheduled for 2:00 or later. Try to arrive in Phoenix no later than 11:00am on the 24th in order  to be at the field on Time.
Departure - I recommend that you schedule your return flight for 5:00pm or later on July 1st. The Championship Game should be completed by 2:00pm. Only the final four teams will play on the 1st. A couple of years ago our 17U team played in the Championship Game and our 15U team finished 5th.

Team Hotel - Our team hotel is the La Quinta West Peoria. Our hotel is located just across the street from the Peoria Sports Complex, home to San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners MLB Spring Training, and a short drive from other stadiums. It is within walking distance of a wide variety of restaurants and Arrowhead Towne Shopping Center. NOTE: Do not call the hotel directly. 15U USA Baseball Championships Event Itinerary

Friday, June 24
• Team arrival and registration
• 15U National Team Development Program testing
• Mandatory coaches meeting

Saturday, June 25 – Monday, June 27
• Preliminary games: All teams will play four (4) games in a round-robin format (weather permitting)

Tuesday, June 28
• Rain/Makeup day

Wednesday, June 29
• Championship rounds 1 & 2 (possible two games)
• Consolation round (one game per team)

Thursday, June 30
• Championship round 3 & semifinals (final four)
• Consolation round (one game per team)

Friday, July 1
• Bronze- and gold-medal games


Tournament Format

Pool Play
• Each team plays four pool-play games
• 76 teams  divided into 19 four-team pools by region
• Each four-team pool plays round-robin (three games)
• After three games, 76 teams are seeded Nos. 1-76 and placed into 19 four-team pools again by overall
seeding (i.e. Nos. 1-4, Nos. 5-8, etc.).
• No. 1 plays No. 4, No. 2 plays No. 3, etc. (one game)

Championship Round
• After four games, 76 teams will be seeded Nos. 1-76, and the top 32 will advance to the single-elimination
championship round with the other 44 teams playing single consolation games on each of the last three days.

Day One
• Thirty-two teams reduced to eight teams by day's end (possible two games per team)
• Consolation Round (one game per team)

Day Two
• Great Eight & semifinals (final four)
• Consolation round (one game per team)

Day Three
• Bronze- and gold-medal games
